Quand on évoque le cyber metal, on pense aux structures carrées, froides comme les machines, on pense à ces futurs (pas si futurs...) dystopiques — et Wulf sait faire tout ça. Mais est-ce qu'on pense à des symphonies ? Peut-être pas immédiatement mais ce ne sont pas les innovations qui lui font peur puisqu'il en écrit depuis 2013 et en rassemble quatre ici ! Cristallines, radieuses, ces épopées instrumentales comptent parmi les musiques les plus fantastiques et ambitieuses de sa discographie !

C'est en brisant une règle pour ainsi dire sacro-sainte du cyber metal — apporter de l'humanité au genre — que Neurotech a pu se faire sa renommée. In Remission pousse le concept encore plus loin. Il n'évoque pas une civilisation future qui chercherait la rédemption : il parle lui-même à cœur ouvert. A l'image de ces flèches reliées mais parallèles, partant dans des directions opposées, Wulf partage une douleur psychologique vive, une déchirure. Le tempo est lent, la joie absente. Poignant.
